What is the deposit and payment schedule?

The whole amount is not due up front. There is a deposit of €349 per person to secure your booking. Then the remaining balance is due 90 days before your departure date and can be made in instalments, allowing you to spread the cost of your holiday.

Rooming – do I need to come with a friend?

Only for the double ensuite rooms (or you can book this by yourself, however you will need to pay for the two spots)! We have a twin share (bunks) which you'll be paired with someone, or there is a single solo room that you can book.

Are flights included?

Flights are not included. You’ll need to book your own flights to and from Croatia. We recommend arriving and departing on the official start and end dates of the tour for included group transfers.

What happens if the trip gets cancelled

This trip will not be cancelled. If we do not reach the minimum numbers for this trip - the remaining spots will be open to the public. Please note there is a small chance of this happening

What's the cooking facilities like?

You will find a fully stocked kitchen with plates, cutlery, crockery, pots and pans, salt, pepper, and oil. There will also be sponges and washing liquid for doing the dishes. Your skipper will show you exactly how to use the kitchen.

What should I pack?

Get ready for sun, sand, and sailing with your favourite summer outfits, swimwear, beach towel, and a floatie—or join our floatie recycle program! Soft bags are ideal, as hard-shell, wheeled suitcases take up valuable space. The lighter you pack, the more comfortable your cabin will be! Don’t forget a portable charger, any necessary medications, and your own reusable water bottle. Since cabins can get warm, a battery-powered fan is a great addition for extra comfort.

What if I get sea sick?

During peak season (July and August), the water is calm, and on most days, you won’t even feel the swell. For days when it is slightly windier, we recommend packing anti-motion sickness medication.

What's breakfast like?

You will be provided with a selection of yoghurts, cereals, milk, fresh bread, fresh fruit, and spreads. There will also be unlimited tea, coffee, and water available—all served with a side of spectacular views.

What if I have a dietary requirement?

Yes. Your Skipper will try their best to ensure there are sufficient alternative options for you. However, the range of specialist foods can be limited in certain areas, so do bring your favourite products along! Please let us know about any dietary requirements by emailing us at hello@medsailors.com

Do I need a visa?

Visa requirements depend on your passport. It’s your responsibility to check and apply for any required entry visas. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months after the trip ends.

Who do I contact with questions?

You can reach out directly to the Dear Community team or your group organiser. Once booked, you’ll also receive support through MedSailors group travel team.

You will need to pay a local payment when you arrive.
