Nelson Leaders
Welcome to Nelson!

Millie May
Kia ora!
My name is Millie! I'm 26, and born and bred in Nelson. I've found myself still here, but I love it for all it's quirks (and scenery)! I know it can be hard in Nelson to find young adults who are also searching for community and a wholesome time together, so I decided to sign up to be a leader here.
I'm currently a Youth Worker at a local school, and I study Health Science with a major in Psychology through Massey. I create rings as a hobby and a (very) small buisness, using precious metals & lab-grown gems! I enjoy most crafts, amateur surfing, nice food, & tramping to good views!
I love to gather people together and see new friendships form and strengthen; Whether that's over a good coffee, a craft-a-noon, a beach walk, or a cocktail night! I'm excited to see some community-building events happen and see friendships blossom!

Emma Nell
Hey, my name is Emma. I grew up in Nelson and have been living here for a few years now after moving back after uni.
I studied Psychology and Maths at the University of Canterbury and worked in HR for a couple years after graduating. Now I have an awesome job as a Traffic Management Planner/Designer and H&S Coordinator for a local civil construction company.
I wanted to become a leader after moving back to Nelson and realising how much harder it is to make friends in your 20’s.
In my spare time I enjoy playing netball, watching or helping out at speedway (closeted bogan 😉), going for walks, or doing anything that involves a puzzle!
