Welcome to our Dear Community x Contiki trip, where we will be taking a group of women down to Queenstown.

Hit the slopes of the South Island's dominating Southern Alps, home to New Zealand's premier ski areas. And while each ski area has its own unique character, they're all framed against NZ's stunning scenic backdrops - lakes, rivers, lush green, golden plains, dense forest, and blue ocean. The air is crisp and clean, the scenery amazing and the snow wonderful - let's go! This is the perfect girls winter getaway for those that want to explore more of Queenstown, hit up the slopes and build lasting friendships.

Day One

Queenstown

Welcome snow squad!

Here in Queenstown, we have one very clear and common goal: ski, snow, good times. Whether you're a pro, mid-range or beginner, the world-class terrain here is suitable for all skill levels and abilities, and we'll be testing out two of the Southern Hemisphere's best ski fields: Cardrona & The Remarkables. But first things first, let’s get settled in and meet your Dear Community crew for the next few days. At 5pm you'll meet your Contiki Trip Manager at the hotel to get the run down on the weekend ahead. If you need to hire snow gear, your Trip Manager will be able to help you, but otherwise, time to get a goodnights’ sleep, cause tomorrow we hit the slopes!

Day two

Cardrona Ski Day

Rise and shine! We’ve got one thing on our mind today, and that’s the snow. Ready to start sharpening up your skills, or building new ones? Today we hit Cardona. Beaut slopes, even better views, and a full range of options to choose from. Ease into those buttery smooth slopes or challenge yourself with something new. Just wanna get going? There’s slopes for all types of skillset. Or feeling adventurous?  Why not hit the terrain park with a full range of features, small to large. After a full day up the mountain, cosy up with a hot choccy and crawl into your pjs, or explore Queenstown for the evening. Chat to your Contiki Trip Manager, they can organise evening activity options and hook you up with the best food recs. Fergburger is a must!

DAY THREE

The Remarkables Ski Day

Today is dedicated to snow, snow and more snow. We got a little taster but today is for trying those new skills you learnt yesterday. Those mountains won't shred themselves - and today we're bound for the incredible Remarkables. This resort has got something for everyone; sun-soaked freshly groomed slopes, some of the best freeride off-piste runs, and world-famous parks for the freestyle lovers amongst us, including the Burton Stash… IYKYK! This evening if yours to do as your please; head out for dinner, take part in an evening activity or chill at the hotel. You know the drill, your Trip Manager is the one with all the best local secrets so chat to them if you want inspo for your evening.

day four

Queenstown or Milford Sound

Today is going to be magical! We are heading to the unofficial eighth wonder of the world, Milford Sound. Imagine cruising through stunning fjords surrounded by towering cliffs and waterfalls. It’s like something straight out of a fairytale. We’ll take a scenic drive to Te Anau and hop on a boat to cruise through the stunning Sounds. Keep an eye out for dolphins, seals, and all the breathtaking views. We’ll return to Queenstown for our final night together, heading to Winnies to enjoy a delicious meal with your newfound friends, tell stories of your achievements on the slopes, swap pics and maybe even dream up your next trip together.

DaY FIVE

Queenstown

Our time in the Queenstown may be over, but the memories will last forever. Before you head home, make sure you swap instas and numbers so you can relive the best parts of your Queenstown ski weekend.
