Wellington

Wellington welcomes you to Dear Community!

Hayley James

Heya!!

My name is Hayley, I moved to Wellington in 2020 to study and have loved it ever since :)) I am working as a corporate girly at the moment and aim to finish my CA before moving to onto my next chapter.

I’m in love with Welly and all it has to offer. I enjoy trying new food spots, going out for drinks, hosting friends for the evening and soaking up the summer sun! I am grateful to be apart of this community and I can’t wait to meet you <3

Megan Hume

Hello, I'm Megan, a Landscape Architecture student at Wellington University. I adore flowers, native birds, and appreciating beautifully designed things. Study break walks and hot drink talks are my favourite ways to unwind, appreciating life in all its little moments.

My days are filled with listening to music, drawing, crafting, and exploring Wellington city, but I find my true joy in the great outdoors and being near the ocean. I have a passion for making room decorations, trying out new recipes, colouring, and, of course, indulging in sweet brunch menu items and ice cream. I'm always up for an adventure. Let's create, explore, and make memories together!

Amelia Frances

Hi,

I’m Amelia, I'm currently studying my Masters in Architecture at Victoria University of Wellington. Originally I grew up in London before moving to Dunedin when I was twelve and have loved every moment, from swimming at the beach to the afternoon barbecue with family.

When I'm not at Uni, I love going for walks around the waterfront with friends (especially at sunset), baking sweet treats, making little Tik Toks about my life and hosting little get-togethers with friends!!

Having lived abroad and moved schools a few times while growing up, I know it can be hard to meet new people, so I'm excited for the opportunity to spark conversations and meet like minded girls!

Jemma McPherson

Heya! I am a 22 year old living in Welly after moving here to study Criminology and Anthropology. Both my degree and current job are very people based and I have a deep passion for bettering women's lives! I enjoy yoga, going for walks on the beach, reading, and spending time with family and friends. I am a hugely organised person who gets a lot of joy out of planning events! Everyone deserves to have meaningful connections and I am so honoured to be able to bring people together through fun conversation and activities through being a Dear Community Leader.
