While many emphasise the significance of New Year's Resolutions and Goals, finding the motivation to dedicate time for thoughtful reflection can be challenging.
This gathering is designed with the purpose of inspiring you to delve deeper into your 2025 aspirations. The event will begin with an icebreaker, followed by a leader sharing the importance of goal setting and future planning.
Attendees will receive a Dear Future journal, thoughtfully designed with prompts to guide individuals through reflective questions.
In small groups, attendees will have the opportunity to ponder and respond to specific questions before engaging in group discussions.
As the event draws to a close, each participant will be encouraged to compose a message to their 2026 self - a letter they can revisit at the beginning of next year.
About Dear Future:
Dear Future is a beautifully crafted guided journal, that was designed to help people uncover their unrealised potential.
With over 120 prompted questions that have been carefully written to encourage thought-provoking answers, all with the intention in mind to guide people to think more deeply about their future.
Dear Future was created to guide people through questions to make them think of what they truly want in their life.
It’s all about encouraging and igniting a fire within people to get excited about their future.
It helps you to look at what could potentially lie ahead for you if only you started dreaming about it today.

Ticket sales
Your contribution not only secures your spot at the event but, more importantly, funds our ability to host events across the country. Our mission is to extend the reach of Dear Community across New Zealand, and your ticket purchase plays a crucial role in making this vision a reality. We rely on these ticket sales to pay our charity overheads, such as leader tickets, accounting, salaries, lawyers, subscriptions, designs and so much more. As a non-profit organisation and due to the nature of our events, refunds are not possible. Please note, Dear Community is now officially GST registered which means we have had to apply an additional 15% to every ticket to go towards GST. We appreciate your understanding and support in making our community-building initiatives possible.
Please note, by purchasing a ticket, you are agreeing to Dear Community’s terms and conditions.
Attendance Policy
In order to ensure the smooth running of our events and to show respect for everyone involved, we request that attendees provide a minimum of 24 hours notice if they are unable to attend a ticketed event. Failure to do so may result in restrictions on purchasing tickets for future events organised by Dear Community.
This policy is in place to allow our leaders to offer the space to other community members in a timely manner. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
