Event: Auckland Christmas Dance Party!

Date: Friday 22nd November

Time: 7pm-10pm

Venue: The Sapphire Room, Ponsonby

Leader: Hannah Koumakis

Attire: Cocktail Dress (long or short is totally fine, but this is your night to come dressed up nice! Grab that lippy, your heels and that dress you've been waiting to wear!) Please note this an 18+ event and ID will be checked at the door. 

Dust off those cocktail dresses, dance the night away with a live DJ, and have fun sipping on a few bevvies with your gal pals (that’s right Pals Drinks will be be provided). 

Remember back to your year 13 school ball? A night where you got dressed up and danced for hours to classic sing a longs? Well, that's the vibe!

It is time to look back and reflect on the year that we had and celebrate all the amazing connections we have made. Dear Community want to throw and end of year Christmas party and celebrate they year that was 2024, we have grown so much as an organisation and we are so grateful to have everyone who has been involved. We would love to see as many of you as possible here to have fun and groovy night.

Starting the night off with welcoming games and icebreakers to help get to know each other. *Heads up, make sure you arrive early as bang on 7pm, the doors will open and you'll be given a People Bingo Card. The winner, will win an epic spot prize!

Followed by an awesome chat with Bri Barrett, an entrepreneur and social media queen who will dive into setting goals as well as tips on how to achieve them going into the new year.

There will be a grazing board and snacks as well as a few drinks available (alcoholic and non alcoholic available)

We will have spot prizes available to win from some awesome and well loved brands throughout the night

And then we plan to get our dancing shoes on and dance the night away with a live DJ

Please note, once you have purchased your ticket, please message the leader on Instagram with a screenshot of your confirmation. This way the leader knows to expect you! If the leader has a private instagram account, you can still send a message. Simply click the three bubbles at the top right hand corner of their profile. You are allowed to send one message until they accept your request.

Ticket sales

Your contribution not only secures your spot at the event but, more importantly, funds our ability to host events across the country. Our mission is to extend the reach of Dear Community across New Zealand, and your ticket purchase plays a crucial role in making this vision a reality. We rely on these ticket sales to pay our charity overheads, such as leader tickets, accounting, salaries, lawyers, subscriptions, designs and so much more. As a non-profit organisation and due to the nature of our events, refunds are not possible. Please note, Dear Community is now officially GST registered which means we have had to apply an additional 15% to every ticket to go towards GST. We appreciate your understanding and support in making our community-building initiatives possible.

Attendance Policy

In order to ensure the smooth running of our events and to show respect for everyone involved, we request that attendees provide a minimum of 24 hours notice if they are unable to attend a ticketed event. Failure to do so may result in restrictions on purchasing tickets for future events organised by Dear Community.

This policy is in place to allow our leaders to offer the space to other community members in a timely manner. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated
