In celebration of Yomi opening their Takapuna Store, we are bringing you an epic Wellness Reset, a Morning of slowing down and taking a moment to prioritise yourself. This event is all about showing up, and choosing to put yourself first, mentally and physically through a Pilates and Guided Journal Event. With carefully curated goodie bags and a delicious breakfast at Yomi, there is no better way to start your day.
Dear Community is beyond thrilled to partner with Yomi to host this event. Yomi is a premium self-serve frozen yoghurt and açai bar, with locations across New Zealand. Build your bowl your way, whether you’re feeling fresh fruit and healthy toppings or something a little more indulgent. Swirl your base, load up your toppings, then weigh, pay, and enjoy! Founded by locals, Yomi was created as a space to chill, connect, and enjoy something that feels as good as it tastes, being proudly local and built for the community!
We are stoked to have the incredible Bianca Tanner founder of Pure Balance Studio in Glendowie, Auckland instructing a 45 minute mat pilates class. Health and fitness have been a huge part of Bianca’s life for over 13 years. After spending years bodybuilding in her early 20s, she developed a deep passion for strength, movement and understanding the body. She has since spent 13 years in the fitness industry and 11 years teaching Pilates. With a classically trained Pilates background, Bianca has developed her own unique style over the years, combining her knowledge of movement and technique with her own flair and what she knows her clients love.
Suitable for all levels, this class is an opportunity to reconnect with your body, focus on breath and alignment, and move with intention. After the class, attendees will take a moment to catch their breath, and then be guided through a time of reflection, through a guided journal session. Led by Hannah Hart, this reflective journalling session focuses on personal routines and seasonal wellbeing, guided by prompts. This event is perfect for anyone seeking a mindful pause, purposeful movement, and connection within the wellness community.
After the guided journal session, you are invited to enjoy your own delicious creation at the new Takapuna Yomi store. Each attendee will get a complimentary bowl up to $15, and then pay the difference for anything that goes over that price.
With just 50 spots available, tickets are limited. BYO Mat, Journal and Pen.
