Calling all snow girlie pops! This is your chance to join Dear Community as we embark on a cosy weekend trip down to Ohakune!

Ohakune… the mighty land of the famous carrot, delightful chocolate eclairs and the infamous Powderkeg, where you will most definitely find every single human in Ohakune there on a Saturday night.

This trip is super cute and cosy. We have booked a very ‘cosy’ Airbnb. Think old school camping vibes. She’s a sweet home with a lot of character! Just imagine you're staying the weekend at Grandma's… nostalgic.

We will all meet at our (let’s call her Granny's Home) after 5pm on Friday. Just arrive whenever suits you. Some of our Auckland girlies don’t arrive till 9/10 pm due to traffic.

The real magic happens on Saturday (yeoooowwww) before we SHRED, we will have our bellies full with Hannah’s amazing pancakes. We are hitting up Turoa, which is a stunning mountain. Perf for all levels.

After a big day on the slopes, SHREDDING it up - we will head down the mountain for some tasty F&C’s before settling into a cosy games night - or for those adventurous girlies, a quick pint at the Powderkeg (IYKYK).

Sunday morning, you’ll rise to the smell of a big brekkie being cooked ready for ya’ll to tuck into before we check out of our accommodation. The world is your oyster after this, whether it is going for a walk in Ohakune, hitting up the Hot Pools, or taking a quick trip to Taupo. It is up to you and your carload of new friends how you spend your day.

Please note: We always like to keep Sunday as a backup day in case the Mountain is shut on Saturday. So make sure you don’t plan anything in case we need to SHRED on Sunday.

Our accommodation (Granny's Home) is old but sweet. She has five bedrooms. One bedroom has a double bed, and the rest are either bunks or single beds. If you are travelling with a friend, we ask (if you’re comfortable) to share a double bed together - to allow for the other girlies to have a single bed!

Huge chalets with 5 large upstairs bedrooms. 1 bedrooms have a double bed; the third has a set of bunks; the fourth a set of bunks and a single bed; the fifth has 2 sets of bunks. Downstairs is the bathroom with 2 showers and 2 toilets; a large living area with a wood burner and a full kitchen. There is a large drying room for damp ski gear and an outside lockable cupboard for skis and boards. Ideal for work, social outings, school groups and extended family holidays.

Please note, we will create a group chat prior to. this event, however it is up to each individual to find their own way to Ohakune. We highly recommend car pooling to save on $$!
